About Femme Forward: Forwarding Females to Shape the Future.

Femme Forward was born out of a passion to equip women in the technology industry and break down barriers to success. Founder Hannah Sophie Becher recognized the immense potential of women in tech and the unique challenges they face during the Covid 19 pandemic.
​
Inspired by her own experiences, Hannah founded Femme Forward, formerly BrainFruits. With a podcast (>1k downloads) and mentorship program, Femme Forward equipped over 45 women with the technical acumen, leadership skills, and confidence to thrive in their careers. The program's success, featuring speakers like Smriti Mishra (LinkedIn Top Voice Tech & Innovation), Ellie King (founder of Equal IT), and Baratang Miya (founder of GirlHype), solidified the need for a more comprehensive platform to support and uplift women in tech.

Femme Forward evolved from this foundation, expanding its mission to address the systemic challenges that hinder women's advancement in the industry. We firmly believe that when women are equipped to succeed, the entire tech landscape benefits from their diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.

Our flagship initiative, the "Beyond Connection" program, is a testament to this commitment. Designed to equip high-potential female employees with the tools they need to become digital leaders, Beyond Connection goes beyond traditional mentorship. It fosters a vibrant community, provides tailored training, and connects participants with influential women in tech and investors who can open doors to new opportunities.

The Gender Leadership Gap: While progress has been made, women still hold only 29% of leadership positions in Denmark and 32% in Germany. This untapped potential leaves valuable perspectives and innovative solutions on the table.

Slow Digital Adoption & AI Integration: Germany, in particular, lags behind in digital transformation. Only 21% of German companies have fully implemented digital strategies, and even fewer are effectively leveraging AI's potential.
